@Kaffe@chitter.xyz Not like a fear or anger fluff up. She just... you know how a cat fluffs up its tail and fur when it's agitated or threatened?? it LOOKED like that but only when she's at full excitement. It starts with just the base of her tail fluffing up, but as she gets more happy and excited, the rest of her slowly follows, but she keeps her tail up, she keeps purring and nuzzling and padding. It's so WEIRD.

@Kaffe@chitter.xyz Kami is like this too. she gets really really into being petted and starts biting at your hand or fingers or arms just... very carefully, but a little on the firm side. Not to hurt, but just so she can nom and purr around your hand really loudly. she fluffs up when she does it too XD

I lived ina bit of a craphole of a house on my own (well okay I had housemates but I knew none of them, they were all strangers, and most were... useless at paying bills ><; ), but the high point was the lovely old couple who were my neighbours who were... just so nice. and they had the most BEAUTIFUL long haired polydactyl cat called Sally, who was super affectionate. to the point that if you stopped petting her, she'd bite you to remind you to pet her <3

@Kaffe@chitter.xyz He is. He's so good. He reminds me a little of our Frankie. He was just... such a lovely old lump of a cat who loved people SO so much. If you were sat down somewhere, he'd happily just wander over, jump up on your lap, flop and purr. He didn't give a fuck. He just loved being cuddled. <3

@Kaffe@chitter.xyz I think, looking it up, Mason is still alive as well?? Like he's not going to get any better, and his condition is declining, but his condition seemed to improve when he's with the kittens, and he's a much happier cat now. The rescue knows he's not got long left but they wanted to make his last months or however long as comfortable and nice as possible, and mission accomplished I guess ;; Mason is such a good boy <3

@Kaffe@chitter.xyz there's this video that's so adorable and also kinda sad at the same time but, there's this really, really old feral cat they called Grandpa Mason, and he's pretty ill. ;; He also doesn't like people, but this rescue puts him with a bunch of little kittens, and he just... he just so happily curls up with them, grooms them, genuinely plays with them, looks after them and is just so much happier with them around. <3
