@tidsguiden yeah I just looked it up, apparently when it first started it was more than just speeding and pitchshifting the track up, but in the big 2010 popularity wave everyone just did the bare minimum effort and put them up as "remixes" leading to a massive glut of what is basically the internet equivalent of holding fastforward and play on a tape player as a kid.

Hot take

@tidsguiden for real though isn't Nightcore just taking a track and speeding it up by 200% or some guff?

and that's literally it? There's no other process to it? no other mastering or remixing or processing???

@lynnesbian Uh... I have no idea I just got a switch and don't have hte pokemon games ^^;

@pup_hime This tecknet keyboard doesn't have any specific software for that and... the instructions are...

....

........not great.... c_c;;

seirously it's like trying to decode what's actually meant when you play the original FF7 trnaslation sometimes.

@lynnesbian I think you gotta actually go into the settings and set the controller grip to use the slide on SR/SL buttons so you can hold it horizontal, or something.

I have macro keys on my keyboard. Theoretically I can bind any key combinations to them

...

in practice they... don't seem to work all that well.

I tried it once, to open the console in a game and type a code and hit enter. It... didn't. it kept missing keys, took forever to do it , like it was entering it 900x faster than the game could actually respond to it.

I've unlockedl ike ... a ton of this big puzzle and there are STILL sub 10 token costing puzzles to unlock it's never bloody ending holy hsit

@lynnesbian fuckin same.

"oh yeah there's a thriving black market"
"where is it?"
"what?"
"and why is it black? do they not pay the electricity bill?"
"..no I mean, it's an illegal market-"
"well I guess that explains why they can't pay the electricity then."

@pup_hime If there isn't a late 90s early 2000s dark and gritty comic out there with bugs having to take up arms to avenge the murder of Elmer Fudd in a Watchmen/Punisher-esque storyline then I will be extremely surprised.

how does one express "lord help me I'm back on my bullshit" in a single emoji

@BigBeanSerena@chitter.xyz because you're good and cute and fluff and nice.

@peculiar_perryble@berries.space (addendum. also try to go for a combo and break BOTH arms for bonus points)
