The crossover we've all been savoring for much like we savor for a freshly baked Cinnabun from the food court as its hot cinnamon perfume wafts through the dingy air to tempt us with its many pleasures.

@softmetals @lynnesbian Doesn't one of the Sonic Advance games have a chao garden too? I know those are kinda a mixed bag but they do a lot of really unique new things in them and they're both very well thought of and widely lamented at the same time?? (not by the same people tho I'm guessing)

@softmetals @lynnesbian oh yeah if there was a standalone chao garden game I'd play the absolute heck outta that because that's like the one reason I wanna try it out.

east campus, feelings and memories, zombie jesus in the bathroom

@gdkar
Ohhhhh, I get it. Grain. Like wood grain.

@lynnesbian
They're.... Not amazing games. I mean the first is okay. But... Wow. They're not great. The second has a lot of the problems the first one did as well as a bafflingly incomprehensible plotline

"That's so sad; Alexa play Despacito"
"I'm sorry but for copyright reasons I am unable to play that song"

BLACK MIRR- actually I'll be very surprised if that isn't an episode hm...

store.steampowered.com/search/

all these legally available sega genesis ROMs and they don't have the ooze. capitalism must die

@SupperMarioBroth@octodon.social
Oh my god that cannot have been comfortable

@SuricrasiaOnline
Can I boost if I installed a flux capacitor using plutonium stolen from terrorists wanting me to create a bomb with it? Cause I -oh shit they found me brb gotta time travel.

@noiob This tecknet keyboard doesn't actually seem to have that functionality in any sense barring just reading when you tap the keys. The instructions are also kinda garbled.

oh christ there's this ad for a game on my phone called Slidey: Block Puzzle and it uses the tetris theme.

not just the tetris theme

but a MIDI TRANSCRIPTION OF THE TETRIS THEME

but wait there's more

They haven't correctly sampled the "drum" track so it just plays a low, normal note with a piano patch in place of each of the drums. which you can hear over hte music, and they left that in.

holy fuck.

@mirzaba Broke: wired earphones
Woke: easily lost, highly expensive, easily broken, tiny, wireless earphones.
Bespoke: PUTTING NON FUNCTIONAL WIRES ONTO WIRELESS EARPHONES TO STOP THEM BEING EASILY LOST AND BROKEN :D :D :D

@tidsguiden yeah I just looked it up, apparently when it first started it was more than just speeding and pitchshifting the track up, but in the big 2010 popularity wave everyone just did the bare minimum effort and put them up as "remixes" leading to a massive glut of what is basically the internet equivalent of holding fastforward and play on a tape player as a kid.

Hot take

@tidsguiden for real though isn't Nightcore just taking a track and speeding it up by 200% or some guff?

and that's literally it? There's no other process to it? no other mastering or remixing or processing???
