Last time I used it, it was called OpenOffice and holy fuck it ran slower than treacle on a cold day in a fully working freezer stuck in a temporal prison where time no longer flows.

JCC/Mushiking or whatever it was called doesn't have even that. it's just... ugh... it's rock paper scissors but even MORE aggravatingly drawn out and without any strategy to get past it any quicker.

to be quite honest the pocket circuit stuff is slightly infuriating too at times but that has all the charm of the commentator dude being an absolute adorable dork whomst i must protect and how seriously Kiryuu and Majima take the damn sport to the point it plays out like a damn sports anime i fucking love it

also just... fuckin. the JCC shit is just no fucking fun to play. The only thing that made the replacement for it, in Yakuza Kiwami, in any way tolerable, was the story segements between Kiryuu and Majima whenever you got them because Majima is fucking hilarious.

like it doesn't even fit with the damn sequences. It's a badass fuckin battle theme that fits better with a protagonist finally cutting loose and bringing righteous fury down upon badguys, not scantily clad girls slapping each other around for the enjoyment of sweaty old men. D:

Seriously Red Radical Rage is an awesome track it has no fucking business being used for that godawful "lol FAAAN SERVIIICEEE", completely devoid of fun, utterly banal and totally "luck" based "minigame".

why does the JCC bullshit in Yakuza 0 have the audacity to have such an amazing musical track for such a godawful part of that game
