Gameplay wise though, the player sprite blocked a lot of action and the hit detection was wonky as hell.
Also you couldn't rapid fire like you could with the original.

Back when I was a kid, I owned a spectrum 128k+2 (I mean, I still do. It's not the original one, it's a model a, but still), but my dad used to buy all three of the magazines for that computer for me. Crash, Your Sinclair, and Sinclair User. SU at the time had a particular mascot, the uh... "Interestingly" named Kamikaze Bear. As a result, a lot of their games on the cover tape revolved around them. Like Bear A Grudge
