Oh cool I CAN take off these keycaps let's have a look at this numpad 7 key that's glitchy on this keyboard...

@cozykaffe@snouts.online In keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3 is still my favourite album by them but Second Stage Turbine Blade and Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume 1: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness (jesus Claudio Sanchez what is WITH that TITLE!?) are great too and I really like all three of those albums. I... THINK i have No World For Tomorrow but I'm not sure I liked as much of that album as I did FFTTEOM and... holy crap there's WAY more7 albums out now. I've... not been keeping up ._.;

@mavica @troubleMoney I figured it might be? Data encoded as audio is a really cool thing and I dunno why I love it so much but... I do? like... a lot??

yaay Doom 2016 completed.

@mavica aw yiss i love when this happens :D

@troubleMoney It's okay! I was mostly going off the association I have with modem noises being... very similar to tape loading noises of old computers back then ^^

@troubleMoney https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLy9_jkqxzc
Warning, gonna be flashing colours, and lots of that noise I described, and bad 8 bit graphics on a loadding screen

@troubleMoney (spectrum tape loading noises actually. ^^; but I suppose a dot matrix printer is somewhat similar)

@najimi@hellsite.site yes oh my god someone put it into words holy shit

@troubleMoney (if you actually get what i'm referencing there I will be very very VERY surprised because it's.... kinda very niché, very oblique, and... possibly slightly incorrect... and also has absolutely nothing to do with modems XD )

@troubleMoney *gets confused and responds similarly, but ... incorrectly,*
