@owashii@snouts.online oh yeah totally the Buu saga was him basically running outta ideas because there's only so far you can take that shit, and I'm pretty sure having Gohan NOT be the lead and being just an ordinary kid with super powers was a snide jab at him having to basically carry this shit on again even when it makes no sense to. It's deliberately kinda a kick to the dicks of the fans, because it was a kick to the dick for him. Still, he did p. good.

@owashii@snouts.online I... think he was like, less involved in the Buu saga tho, because he def bsaically went "yyyyeaah nah i'm not being project lead on this now" afterwards, hence GT because toei wanted <bill wurtz voice> MORE </voice> but then Super is him getting his groove back and completely invalidating all of GT basically because now he's large and in charge again.

@owashii@snouts.online there's this whole shtick about how there's like, three or four fuckin' timelines two of which the audience basically never sees (trunk's original unaltered unCell'd timeline, and the timeline Cell came from which was created by Trunks going back the FIRST time, which he returned to, and got eaten by Cell - we see that one in a flashback mind you), but... yeah. that's a headspinner.
