like loading of tapes for the Spectrum computers holy balls like. sure... I can get perfect tape images online that go through THE ENTIRE loading sequence, sound and all.
...but that means waiting up to 10 minutes for a game to load. (I swear Battleships on the Spectrum took like... fuckin half an hour at least tho god. It had no business taking that long. Rampage I could understand. Battleships?? fuck.)

LB: God I used to love running Defrag, but also hated it.
Thing is, it was super good to run and I loved watching the little code blocks get all organised, but the "quick defrag" took no time at all and still left it visually looking like a mess with big gaps, but the full defragment took bloody forever, especially on bigger drives, so you couldn't do a damn thing until it was done.
dang, that organisation tho.

@avie@awoo.space ClassicShell or... I think it's called OpenShell now? is what I use. It turns 10 back into using something very similar to 7's UI style, and you can easily and quickly switch between them too if you want
