the more likely reason: tux works better as a generic logo as well as a mascot, the simple design, cartoonish features and easily recognisable silhouette make him a better functional mascot character.

@avie@awoo.space i still maintain that greggs' is the mcdonalds of bakery products. I feel like I might have said this before but I still hold it's true.
They're moderately cheap, really friggin quick, and there's always this kinda underlying sensation of shame when eating it, but ... sometimes you just gotta have some, and you do, and it's great, and then after it's done you ask yourself "god... why"
