you know how the terrain manipulator extracts resource deposits from the terrain via voxel manipulation?...
...did early game resources from mineral rocks used to do the same thing with the mining laser? Like, the objects were voxels and you'd chip away at them rather than just shooting them until they exploded?

@Felthry god iut was weird and freaky. it was very cool tho... aaaand rather lucrative given I found an ENTIRELY NEW Derelict Freighter type that I'd never found before. I was starting to wonder if they'd all be exactly the same. Glad I was wrong ^^
@Felthry Can confirm,t his is an abanadoned system. The space station is derelict, and has NO NPCs whatsoever, god this is creepy as heck XD It's also filled with that same weird goo-resin stuff that's found in abandoned facilities on regular planets.
@Felthry nope still barren of life lol. lots of nice resources tho!. Let's see if the space station is abandoned too!
@Felthry Oooo I think I might have found a NORMAL planetary body out of all six that are in this system. Isotopic! It's gonna be radioactive but at least it's gonna be normal, right?? ...

uh... wait there's TWO stellar corruption biome planets in this system what the heckaroonies. not a single npc or creature on any planet so far wtf.

Nope still no creatures or NPC's here. Every building that would NORMALLY have NPC's, or even the secure sites, is basically all but destroyed, with those weird biological horror eggs. What even happened in this system omg
oh my god even the moon of this Stellar Corruption biome planet (which is just, apparently, a standard , rather nice looking 'Paradise' biome, but all colours aside from vivid, angry red, drained from EVERYTHING, and a lot of storms going off. And also still no friggin NPCs or fauna whatsoever no matter WHAT the scan tells you about the planet,. holy shit. wtf. ) is an Exotic planet what the hell. It's a bubbles biome!... it's pretty at least tho!
