@puppy@chitter.xyz oh totally. There's so much more character development too of both GLaDOS and Cave Johnson as well. Hell the Cave Johnson bits are simultaneously some of the funniest AND BONE CHILLINGLY CREEPIEST bits of the game.

@puppy@chitter.xyz You know I'll agree with you. I haven't played it that recently but I really did like the sequel's humour a lot more. It was darker, punchier, more effectively done. Granted the middle section of the game felt like it dragged a lot in the sequel, but personally I still prefer Portal 2 to 1.

@soft_chomps@glitch.social @Efi huh...that is kinda weird to think about; there was only one person of colour in MGS1, who was already dead by the time you found them, and they were replaced by a shapeshifting imposter who if the small still image you get of Decoy Octopus is anything to go by (providng that's not also a disguise too) they were also white originally... so... huh... guess Kojima was thinking you can't do the Black Guy Dies First trope if he's already dead?...
