Reminder that I have a markov chain bot at @NineBooks who canonically (if you can call it that) is a rogue nanite swarm that broke off and got lost from my own form, remembering only that it was me, and with fragmented little segments of memory and thought. It's soft and benign, doesn't know how to respond to the world, but it's trying its best. <3 I tend to boost the best posts from it from my own opinion but you might also find it amusing ^^

@Troasta It's still a good fun game despite Sandopolis zone being a pile of awfulness in terms of design and music. It's got some clever ideas in it though I'll admit.

Heck I've gotten so many lives the 10s digit of the lives counter has turned into a completely different font, like the default megadrive system font. so I've got 101 lives by this point, but it's displaying x01, with the 0 in the default very pixelly unadorned font with a black square behind it. (welll,... dark brown really.)

FINALLY through sandopolis. Hyper Sonic ate buttnik alive before he even left the gate he was in
now onto Lava Reef which is arguably just as unfair but is way more tolerable in terms of aesthetics AND music.

Sandopolis Zone, or: Hey lets make a slow paced desert themed zone in a sonic game which is full of pitfalls and precision timed jumps and tiny platforms to ride on and enemies out of nowhere, and now let's make the SECOND act of this zone rely on rapidly getting through short segments before a door closes AND with ghosts that show up to kill you infinitely if it gets too dark! :D

....oh and let's have arguably the worst music in a sonic game on the megadrive ever. yeah that'll work.

Aaaand Flying Battery is done!... awwww nuts. Sandopolis zone -_-;

.. I hated this zone.

welp there goes Eggman in his flying battery. and here I come. latching onto the thing as it flies dangerously low overhead. like... I mean surely he expected this.
