@SilviaFox@sleeping.town (also whilst I love Aliens as a film i have to admit it causes some problems because at first glance, and certainly because of the way it's presented, it is easy for people to think that the xenomorph are easy to kill if you just have the right guns which has arguably led to so many bad ALIENS games which seem to miss the point entirely of the xenomorph and just turn them into deadly-in-melee-but-fragile-speedster mooks. :/ )

@SilviaFox@sleeping.town They are definitely too different to fairly compare. I mean one is a tense creeping fairly hard-sci-fi thriller/horror film. The other is basically a vietnam war story but scifi instead (I say that instead of "action film" because it's framed and directed in the same way, it's about the attempt to survive overwhelming odds nobody was prepped for instead of the battles/killing aliens). Both are great films but not easily compared, or fairly.

@SilviaFox@sleeping.town I once wanted to run a roleplay online based around Yume Nikki and its fangames where due to mysterious events lucid dreamers were starting to affect reality itself and the dream world and the real world were able to affect each other both ways, resulting in lucid dreamers awakening to mysterious powers by exploring and conquering/solving their dream worlds, but as a result said dream worlds rapidly became more dangerous too.
