Under/over exposed images, motion/focus blur, mis-focus, wrong white-balance or bad framing/rotation all fit
@noiob the answer is the rice stays dry and doesn't soak up much water, and you just end up with hard uncooked grains of rice that are now wet and sticking to things because of the water's surface tension.
@noiob i feel like people who actually do the phone in rice thing haven't actually... thought about what happens when rice grains get even the slightest bit wet.
