THERE we go. finally. Turns out that using Xinput is better for the 8bitdo sf30 pro with Rpi3 because sure you can set it to Dinput mode, but Retropie natively reads it as the 8bitdo sf30 pro, and... then it ignores the existence of the Star and uh... moon??? buttons, meaning you have no usable "hotkey" button. :|

so you gotta make it think it's a 360 pad ahahaha welp

i love the rtype games but Final is just so ggoddamn good and I think my favourite part of the entire game is the unlocking of all the ships and just going through the museum and looking athte models and I would LOVE

LOVE to have like, a few models on my desk of key Rtype ships.

also I really like the concept of the Bydo and all the personality of them shown in Final.
