@fillertrack Yeah! Turns out I must have been, though I didn't even know there WAS a remake of Castlevania 1 on the Sharp! :o Either way that's p. cool.
@Felthry no idea honestly. I suspect it's mostly because the original Sharp x68000 version did a lot of cutscenes and very very detailed backgrounds and spritework, plus voice acting, full proper music etc. Obviously the visuals and sound had to be cut down a bit, but the missing levels and cutscenes are a space/power thing I suspect. Certainly entire levels were utterly redesigned.
Also it controls like arse. Dracula X was at least playable despite the massive amount cut out of it
