sometimes it's slightly distressing like I can't stop syaing the word over and over even though I know this happens and sometimes the wor djust... becomes noise.

does anybody else do this thing where they say a word they've used hundreds of times bepfore and then suddenly have to... stop and... say it over and over because now suddenly it sounds strange and weird mental images come up and you can't stop thinkinga bout it and now the word is fucking weird and aaaaaaaaa

Oh apparently Kappabashi-dori is the kitchenware district of Tokyo! Like they sell everything from knives, to trays, to earthenware, to aprons, to actual cooking machinery and such, to things like wax food replicas for display in eatery windows (seriously those things are amazingly well made and an artform unto themselves I swear), everything a restaurateur would need... is that the right word? Restauranteur??

@RC though seeing all the cute halloween outfits for girls gave me a fair bit of bad gender feels because I wanted so desperately to wear them but knew they'd a) never fit and b) I would never look that cute in them. ;;

@RC Me and Miq don't drink (mostly because neither of us can stand the taste, but also because medications would be interfered with, and also because I hate being drunk. ^^; ), but I used any excuse I could get to go to that store because it's amazzziiinnnggg!!! It's so huge!! They were a lifesaver as well because they were open 24 hours, had amazing treats and such, and also were filled with such cool stuff.

@RC I wish I'd had time (and spare cash) to grab one when I was there but sadly no ;w; We were on our way home on the last day of our trip

Also Don Quixote is a really weird store but absolutely amazing... Though they do have a strangely alluring penguin girl mascot advertising their tights line.
