All the sidquests do this too. Like, there's cybernetic, friendly feral ghouls around. Why? this mod sure as fuckin' hell ain't gonna tell you!

oh god so apparently there's this quest where I have to go talk to this fucking John Despot or whatever his name is. fuck. and it's taking me on a trek through... god only knows WHAT??? and it's a fucking ugly mess, and...

also another HUGE problem. There's a bunch of sidequests, and yet NOTHING. NOTHING fucking explains anything.

So, after much deliberation, we decided to let our neighbours adopt Sid, our giant orange and white maine-coon boy because he ... does not like staying with us or being petted by us which is :( but at least he seems to be getting along well with them and he likes them.

so we sorted it out with the vets and everything.

aaaaand today we have Sid again, sat in the cat tree, sleeping. in our house. as if we're his owners again :|

this... whole thread is gonna be kinda shitting on this mod I'm fucking stuck in. I apologise for this but short of loading up the mod in fucking FNVedit and working out what bloody quests to complete so I can jsut fucking LEAVE the damn thing, I'm stuck here so if I gotta suffer with this you're gonna hear me complain (even though this is entirely my fault)

granted okay as time's gone on they've kinda... suffered "Adaptation Decay" if you'll forgive the use of a trope, and it's kinda turned INTO a sort of pseudo religious thing where they horde technology because they can't trust anybody else with it and want to stop it being used to end the world again, but you know, they're not like hyperevangelical douchénozzles usually.

okay and this isn't even seemingly lore appropriate because the Brotherhood of Steel npc I've found is some kind of abusive religious dickwaffle or some shit as opposed to the outgrowth of a military force that found out what the fuck the Enclave were doing, went fucking rogue as shit because "HELL NO WE ARE NOT DOING THAT SHIT", and fucking rebelled against their government for being shitty fashy pieces of shit.

@jk ironically even the most high tech power generation machines are all just extrapolations on steam power.

heat water, get steam, pressurise steam, put steam through turbine, generate power.

It's all super inefficient heat trasnfer (except wind and hydroelectric I guess but really when you think about it wind is just really cold steam and hydroelectric is just using very very wet and heavy steam that's super super dense)

because apparently i am a glutton for punishment and didn't make a save before starting this garbage ass mod I am livetooting it now. because oh god I HOPE, I HOPE this is building towards a big fuckin' subversion and it'll be actually clever and funny but so far NNOOOOOPE. ugh.

@stolas@elekk.xyz yes but it's kind of the - if you'll pardon the pun - nuclear option, as it completes ALL quests.

...all of them.

Theoretically if I could find all the Quest IDs and relevant item IDs I could spawn the reward items that are any use and then just fuckin'. complete each of the quests fully but that would involve me loading up FNVedit, getting it to load the mod specifically and manually looking through it for the specific quest ids and HOPING it works. ...which it lightly won't. ;;

@stolas@elekk.xyz i am stuck in the mod and i cannot leave because i don't have a save before I entered t he mod because I am an absolute dingus and forgot to make a save prior to entering it ahghrhglbhg so I'm stuck here until I finish it

I mean I GUESS I ccould just... warp myself OUT, but... I have no idea how much that would break...

So far this mod is almost physically painful in its terrible writing, fuckawful racial stereotypes, blatant Gamer(TM) mindset and even its area design too. Ugh.
