Alright so I've played Hexen and Heretic for the first time (aside from years and years ago where I played a demo of hexen and maybe the shareware version of Heretic very briefly and wasn't that impressed with either) and ... dang I was wrong about them.
Heretic is straight up just The Catacomb Abyss but Doomified, so it's understandable I was a bit "meh" about it, but the monster designs are p. cool, and there's some neat touches here and there, environment wise.
@heatherhorns yeah i mean then you'd just have to present it twice, basically. Who wants to do that? anyway I gotta get this coursework typed up. *clambers up onto a stool, then a desk, where thjere is a computer, sits in front of the keyboard and just paps at it with their tiny pawbs, random characters showing up on screen because they are a sknq and cannot type with tiny pawbs. they will still get a B+ for it somehow*

@heatherhorns also in Mastodon High there's a tiny little skunk who attends despite being a normal non-anthro skunk in every way, and somehow keeps getting good marks in class.
Everybody reacts as if they're a normal student. Only a couple people seem to notice they're just a skunk.

The cats always knew, somehow.
Most cats know, actually, but few care, and even the ones that care, fewer still know what to do.
So even without a sob or missed meal, my cats knew when to lay themselves over me, purring peace back into my tensed limbs and joy back into my heart.
The youngest was still learning and would bring me all her toys, laying them beside my head.
Maybe it was just for the extra treats, but I still appreciated it.

Oh dang I finally found the pictures from Japan I was missing, :O I took these two specifically because of the juxtaposition of manmade tech and nature and how one is just absorbed by the other... I think I prefer the second one most, the power lines blend so well with the trees.
rewatching the BDG "Every Sonic Game is Blasphemous" video and... god when Sonic the Comic came out in the UK and they did the origin of Sonic, I was super confused as to why sonic was brown, Robotnik was thin and a good guy, and all that and now it turns out that was all canon to the "Sonic Bible" and that none of the games even basically reference it at all????????????? what????

@AzureHusky *proceeds to actively seek out softer looking lightbulb mods in any simulation rather than actually changing the lightbulb under the pretense that there's too many default lightbulbs in simulations or that they just prefer to look at different lightbulbs than the default ones and they're totally a default lightbulb fan no for real honest*

@AzureHusky also look there's nothing weird about just changing the look of the lightbulb in simulations to something other than the default, that's all, I just think I'd rather not look at a default lightbulb, I want something I dunno, something nicer and softer in this completely unrelated simulation of this room with this lightbulb in nothing weird about that at all nope totally not questioning my lightbulb preferences.
