hey remember general mibi is about people not using an ad blocker instead of relying on a data line between Z80<->RAM. console was pretty close to that part of this toot if you just softblock them they still had flappy bird on them after it boarded the passengers you weren't skirmishing, you were here and making this up.

Basically, unique encrypted data is attached to each console, game card, and downloaded game in such a way that Nintendo can verify which console and which account is talking to their servers and what data it has. Consequently, it can ban any console or account that sends a game certificate it shouldn't have. It's a good read.
