"If you had to recommend someone play 5 games" etc reasonings 1
Undertale: The retro aesthetic, the hilarious, silly humour, the heartcrushing raw emotion it inspires, the story, its beautiful message, the characters, just everything about it is so important to me. I reinstalled it on my Surface Pro just so I could have a True Pacifist playthrough on EVERY system I've played it on.
Duskers: Command line interface? genuinely nerve racking? quirky roguelite-esque gameplay? Very yes, thanks.
I installed steam on my Surface Pro and stuck a few of my games i haven't ever played on it like Hacknet and Sword & Sworcery, and it's pretty great but also I found after playing a bit of Hacknet that command line interface games are rad as fuck and I put Duskers on that shit too because hell yeah command line interface games on a laptop device
food/drink
oh i found grenadine syrup in our house and I remembered @maple mentioning it was delicious so I tried it out and I'm not sure it's genuine because I remember her saying it was made with pomegranate but this has raspberries and strawberries on the label but it's still heckin' nice with sparkling water.
was watching Planet Earth 2 last night (nature documentary thingy, pretty great), and the last episode was on wildlife in cities and there was not only this really friggin cool bit on yeens where in Africa there is this city where they are forming a sort of symbiosis with the hyenas and giving them food and the yeens are more peaceful in the city as a result and don't hunt there because they get hand fed.
But also on raccoons and they are the cutest oh my gosh they make such adorable noises.
small brain: complex riffs and technical music knowhow to create a blistering and engaging tune that will keep listeners engaged no matter how many times it changes theme throughout the track
normal brain: catchy throwaway manufactured 90s - 2000s pop band tunes with a simple "1-2" regular bass beat to maximise catchiness and to get stuck in people's head all day without effort
galaxy brain: children's youtube music tracks/banana phone
UNIVERSE BRAIN: Megaman X Title Screen music.
Holy crap. Malware hidden in a strand of DNA hijacks the computer that analyzes that particular gene sequence.
We're going to live in a very weird world man.
Last year, I got Unreal Tournament '99 and Unrealty running in web browsers. I would love to see more Unreal Engine 1 games on the web. Do you work for a company that owns a UE1 title? Hit me up.
