so here i am
doin everything i can
holding on to what i can
pretending i'm a spiderman

i like how in arknights theres a couple characters that Just Want To Touch A Fluffy Tail

what if lord of the rings but instead of The One Ring Sauron's just looking frantically for his car keys

at that level of tiredness where I just want a pair of grappling hook pistols to just... drag myself everywhere by instead of having to walk or do anything apart from point in a direction and just... get pulled that way like a ragdoll

"The Grid

A digital frontier

I tried to picture clusters of information as they moved around the computer.
What did they look like?
Ships, motorcycles?
Were the circuits like freeways?
I kept dreaming of a world I thought I'd never see.

And then,
one day

I got in...

...and it was nothing but shitposts."

i cant believe this is a hot take but here u go, tech related

reminder that not everyone is good at tech and some people will never be good at it no matter how hard they try and those people still deserve things like internet privacy and accessibility features, and chastising people for making tech mistakes is literally the least helpful thing you could do for them

I made a point in #cashflowforcreators of saying that it's okay for you to practice your craft for joy and that it didn't have to be a side hustle, or *any* kind of hustle. That joy is sufficient reason to do a thing.

Half of my first readers said they had never been told this. This makes me very sad.

If your art brings you joy, DO IT. Maybe you'll never make a penny off it, and that is totally OK.

Doing things for the joy of it is vital.

what's the most perceptually-optimal 16 color palette for "normal images"?

@Nine so is the lion the witch and the wardrobe

"Uh...THE BOREALIS!? in THIS hemisphere of the planet, at THIS juncture in the resistance against the Combine, at THIS late in the storyline of Half Life, localised ENTIRELY within this offlimits area we can only see through this video feed?!"
"Yes!"
"...can we go there in the sequel?"
"...no."

Important ASA (Admins Service Announcement) for Mastodon and generally PostgreSQL admins: Due to some changes in glibc some distribution upgrades will cause PostgreSQL text indexes to become corrupted, potentially leading to unique indexes not being correctly enforced and inconsistent application data.

THIS WILL ALSO HAPPEN IF YOU DO NOT UPDATE YOUR POSTGRESQL, A DISTRO UPDATE IS ENOUGH!

@noiob @Nine now thinking abt an actual wireless water implementation where you have a backpack with a big funnel connected to a hose and a base station that tracks your location and shoots water into the funnel
