as opposed to Fallout 3's dlc which is largely total friggin garbage

I've played FONV like, three times before all the way through, this is like my fourth playthrough total as a result. Every time though, I am continually impressed by how good all four DLC are.

Heck actually Digging in the Dirt by Peter Gabriel has kinda the right mood to it. sure it's not "lore appropriate" but heck we're just after a moody soundtrack for the game right?

hmmm should I mod fonv to have a custom radio so I can put appropriate tracks that aren't just the FONV soundtrack? I mean the FONV soundtrack is pretty great but I dunno... if I'm gonna listen to "Why don't you do right" I'd rather the version from Who Framed Roger Rabbit honestly.
