so you do't just get a fossil and revive it as a pokemon oh no you get to splice two different fossils together to make "WACKY COMEDY COMBINATION POKEMONS" because there's this one fossil scientist who I do not think is at all legal or a licensed paleoscientist or geneticist.

The fairy gym leader, Opal, is kinda weird in general, but remember Bede ( more like BAD am I right) ? Yeah he got kicked on his arse for being a complete utter dingus and isn't a challenger anymore. And yet he's still an insufferable conceited fuck.

However.

After beating Opal, she comes with you to the next area, and sees him and... Basically pressgangs him into being her student???

chargin through a gym using a pokemon that's not weak to the types in it but definitely not efficient because the damn thing is an absolute monster and is just... oneshotting everything.

granted I'm one ot fuckin' talk I've been editing my challenger card every so often and making it more and more extra with each time. it now has checked holofoil as a coating. CHECKED HOLOFOIL. ANDA FUCKIN FIERY BORDER.
