Like, not FIVE SECONDS after I risk a really long shot to take out a turret that I can ONLY just see the top of, that is perched covering a big wide rooftop, I go to check it out and grab the ammo, only to hear the beep of a drone. I reload my gun and back off, and aim the moment I see it round the corner after me, going to press R to rack the gun. GUESS what happens.

Soooo. I get up to rank 2 fairly regularly, then die, then sink back down to rank 1 again. like. a lot. Mostly because of mistakes I keep making. Drones are STILL horrific, but if you manage to spot them before they can spot you, you'll be okay.

GOSH this game is a rollercoaster though.

I've used knockoff "post-it notes" things to point out the mode and OK buttons on my monitor because the text to show what they are is black on a black background and the text is raised and glossy on a matte (ish) background and when my hand is there fumbling to reach the buttons it blocks the light making it EVEN HARDER to read the text so I often press the wrong buttons and turn the monitor OFF instead of switching the input source so I can play on my Rpi or switch back to my PC...
