Hello, I'm NovaSquirrel and I'm a game developer and furry. I really like platformer and puzzle games, and https://novasquirrel.itch.io/nova-the-squirrel is my take on a game that blends the two together, inspired by my childhood favorites. It's for the #NES, and I hope to release cartridges of it some day.
@Tobi Aside from me open sourcing everything by default, I kind of hoped to create something like Super Mario World has, where people share blocks, sprites and other assets, and you can easily make a platformer game with these. I want to encourage sharing and openness in general for retro game development.
