Pre-level screen that gives you both a view of the entire level and the level's objective. Reused the level displayer from the level editor.

Shout-out to whoever's still paying to keep the infinitely-falling bread sign rotating almost a year after the bakery itself closed. It would be a sad day if it ever stopped.

Here's some silly stress testing stuff, where due to enemies spawning in the middle I'm safe from everything.

FHBG GB's in-game level editor should be complete now. You can draw a level and also set parameters and an enemy list for it.
(and it seems like gifcam messed up a little too)

On the way home from the bike ride I went on yesterday I stopped at Yummi Bunni and tried the glazed donut icecream thing.

Here's a cleaned-off desk, where my squirrel print from last year's IndyFurCon can decorate my room much better now.

In-game level editor in FHBG GB now lets you set the number of needed chips (if needed) and a limit on the number of simultaneous enemies.

I made a small Serious Sam map that actually puts more effort into being a good map for two or three people, as opposed to the very big maps I've seen. Oh, and I had fun picking textures as always. Hopefully I can actually try it out with a real person soon.

Actually dug out FHBG GB again to work on it a bit, and I added a pole block type for decoration. I should work on that again.

Tilemap Town's got an inventory now that's actually saved on the server. It's pretty minimal now, and you can't actually upload images or define tilesets but both exist.

Folders (stylized as chests) are also functional, though they currently just dump their contents into the same unordered list instead of doing a neater indented thing yet.

@Robinhase built this little house on Tilemap Town while learning how to use my (not great) UI

Here's one with better contrast, at least. I used the version of my avatar I did for the nesdev forums where I traced over it and used NES colors, so the lines are a lot blacker.

Helped by some existing tools and reverse engineering work, I got my Miuchiz handheld from like 2006 to display my character. The plastic in front of the screen is really bad though. If I can replace that it'd be cool as a little portable 6502 computer.

For some reason I'm still playing Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. My camp is, of course, full of squirrels.

I'm trying to go for maximum green with this house. Or lime, I suppose.

This is some concept art I doodled for Nova the Squirrel box art, since the burger surfing stuff is pretty iconic. Not sure if I'd want to do a background or not (SMB3 didn't do one), but if I do then I'd go for the glassy theme of world 2.

Finding an artist to commission and getting some better box art drawn (either this or a better idea) is one of the must-do tasks before the cartridge release.

"sandwich size" pepperoni can go on pizza just fine right?
