food (-)
I like visiting my dad especially since it's a good opportunity to get out of the house, but being almost the only person there who can eat gluten messes things up.
Their food is expensive so I'm usually left out of meals and have to cook my own stuff, can't use the toaster, and usually there's not room for groceries for me because the stuff that's not for me takes up most of the space already. I used to have a freezer shelf but it's since been mostly taken over most times I visit.
Play Gruniożerca 3! Gruniożerca 2 was my favorite game from last year's nesdev compo and now it has a sequel and it's still super adorable and polished and full of guinea pigs solving puzzles

@scarly nothing boring about girls girls girls girls
what changed for me was how I view myself
I kinda want to make a bunch of smaller, spinoff Nova games and/or possibly come up with some other characters for a shared universe. Definitely no more 3 year projects for now, but Squirrel Domino was really fun to do and I wanna keep at it.
I think this is my continuous desire to worldbuild intersecting with how good it feels to do game development.
You can, in fact, have a chain of people following other people and form a little RPG party if you want to though it doesn't happen automatically if multiple people follow one person
@softgoat the Action 53 NES homebrew project does that, except with a chiptune cover of that section of "it takes two" rather than a recording
negative
I have a few problems that seem inescapable and that have bothered me either throughout my whole life or just for a very long time, and I feel like all I can do is distract myself and pretend things are fine while just hoping things turn around someday, waiting year after year while nothing changes. All of them are things that require cooperation from other people and I always get the same suggestions that I've already tried every time and it's just a tiring thing overall.
I love how expressive the save icons for PlayStation 1 and 2 games are. On 1 they're often actually animated, and on 2 they're entire 3D models with animations and sometimes even a special animation displayed on the delete confirmation screen, that you're rarely going to be looking at but someone still took the time to make it.
job seeking
Apparently my application to Kroger has been sitting incomplete for awhile because their website requires me to claim I am not older than 14. 15, 16, 18, or 19 but I am in fact still older than 21 despite that not being how math works. Oh well, I definitely would have refused to work in today's weather so that's alright that there wasn't a chance of me getting hired earlier.
assembly
@catoutofbed With how complex everything is and all the extensions out there, plus the fact that that smaller code isn't even guaranteed to be faster (leading to things like ENTER/LEAVE getting mostly ignored), I'm very happy leaving writing x86 assembly to gcc and focusing on writing optimized 6502 instead.
I'm a pretty squirrel princess who dabbles in roleplay, game development, retro game consoles, pixel art, and a variety of computery things.
