@wolfcoder if nothing else that's a pretty strong answer to the question of "Is what I'm designing/developing actually fun?" which I've bumped into in the past.

I've also had it act as a motivator for getting more of the game developed so I have more to play around in.

@claude My favorite way to play multiplayer games like Minecraft is always to use it to establish some shared community space like a town, that anyone could work on whenever they liked. That's a big part of the vision for Tilemap Town too.

novasquirrel.com I went and redid my website, mostly changing the background (which I'll replace as soon as I can draw one on my own), moving the longer list of works into their own pages, and putting character profiles on the site rather than using the full overhead of a wiki for it.

Assuming I get the days off, I'm going to IndyFurCon again this year and I'm rooming with the same friend who had a "Trespassers will be eaten" sign on her hotel room last time. You can probably imagine how that went down, and many jokes about the hotel room being a vore party were made which annoyed her.

What made it even funnier is that we ended up streaming "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and the human meat episode happened to come on.

Probably won't hang that sign up again.

@floppyplopper Yeah it's an old meme and I'm being silly. Jack Black came on Sesame Street to define what an octagon is:

And it was then used for tons of weird music videos based around sampling that Sesame Street clip:

I won the competition with a nasty looking foot rest and got a $25 Amazon gift card. The art gallery now has more stuff!

At my work we're gonna scavenge around and try and find the most cursed thing we can at the building in the abandoned spaces and vote for which is the best one

Welcome to the art museum cubicle, we don't have any walls and in exchange we have paintings

Sometimes I'll get lyrics stuck in my head but I can't quite remember how the syllables match up with the timing, and I guess my brain then tries to sort it out for awhile. And then I finally listen to the song again later and it turns out I didn't completely remember the words either so I wasn't going to have solved it with what I had.

I'm definitely going to order a stylus for my new laptop, and then add a Handsome Squidward figure into the same order because I need that in my life. I want to drawwwww.

@XerTheSquirrel I think a lot of it is that most of the time I'm pretty much downtown, and that automatically reduces the list of seeable animals down to squirrels, rabbits, birds, and I saw a raccoon and an opossum each one single time.

I saw a deer outside the building at work today. I think that's the first time I ever saw a deer in real life.

My background converter is working and I've got that forest background inserted into the game now! I think I'll move the background and the level up 16 pixels though.

@softgoat I was really excited about the Ouya as more of an indie games box and I did have quite a bit of fun playing some of the original games it introduced me to (Duck Game was the most important). Nowadays the Switch has tons of fun indie games on it (including Duck Game) and my Ouya doesn't even work anymore, but if it did I would so look at the store for the last month it's open.

Hopefully it stops raining by the point the delivery driver gets here though. Even if it doesn't they can probably figure out to leave it on the section of the porch right under the roof.

I think I've got a day of laptop installation tomorrow if it actually arrives like it apparently will be. I'm pretty excited for that.

A long time ago as a kid I remember just being amazed by the novelty of a font that had snow on top of all of the characters, like that was a super impressive thing

I think I got stuck in some sort of neverending winter somehow. It does not feel like it's almost June at all.
