I need to really work and focus on trying to get more involved in communities I'm in. Just it's unclear how.

Trying to figure out what Tilemap Town's virtual machine for running user scripts should look like. Maybe the simple way out (stack machine, Forth, add a better language later) is the best way since it gets things in a working state quickly.

Ideally I would just plug a preexisting language in there but people don't really write languages aimed at the needs of MU*-like projects.

Once upon a time my main music player was my Nintendo DS and Moonshell, with a 1GB (and then later 2GB) SD card, so to store a lot of different music I ended up mostly listening to midis and tracker stuff, so in many cases I'm way more familiar with midi versions of songs than the regular thing.

It appears someone is building something in what was an empty lot across the street from my house, so I probably can't tell friends to hijack that land and build their dream house right by mine anymore.

food

I'm really glad I bought the stuff to make cheeseburgers tonight. They turned out better than last time, though I need to do something about the pickles+condiments section if I want to have THAT many pickles without it being a sliding mess. A tasty mess though!

Oh no, I think Sonic Mania might be one of those games that requires Joy2Key.

Thankfully it's also one of those games where if I map my controller buttons to the 1-9 keys on the keyboard, menus will actually display the thing printed on the buttons.

I moved my Genesis and the cat still won't leave the area where it was alone. This may become a problem.

I think F-Chat is actually hitting its breaking point with its architecture. It has very bad scalability decisions and has to handle 8000-9000 or more users on top of that, and it's seemingly crashed several times over the past few days, with the user count dropping several thousand instantly.

Tried adding more colors to the player sprite for Nova the Squirrel for practice, with darker line art this time for contrast. I don't need to keep this exact shape for a potential "All Stars" version but the hitbox (and thus the 16x24) is important to keep, otherwise there would need to be lots of level changes and that would defeat the purpose of a SNES remake.

Cat kept walking around my Sega Genesis and she keeps looking at it.

I just saw the "supernets" IRC spam use an ASCII-art QR code as part of the spam (that apparently actually works). I guess this is the future.

Transphobia (+)

I get to see my sister for the first time in ages due to Thanksgiving and she's talking about how awful my mom's husband is for being transphobic and homophobic. I'm glad I have some actually good family members that treat that as a problem.

Slowly starting out on a draft about unused/underused Nova the Squirrel features/mechanics and things that turned out differently than I originally planned, and there's a lot so it's going to take awhile to organize.

Maybe I should write about the unused content in Nova the Squirrel, since that sounds more fun than actually taking anything out. A retrospective on my original vision for things that ended up going different.

I'm putting together a list of fictional characters categorized by who I would kiss, who I would kiss a lot, and who I would just hug.

Trump?

Someone just followed me on Twitter with no tweets and a very bizarre, very small following list that's just homebrew related people and then Trump and Ann Coulter for some reason.
