So... I've gone Linux now.
Being used to the smoothness and reliability of Mac, I'm really surprised at how unique that isn't.
Sure, I made a couple of mistakes. But they all came down to me wanting to be oh-so-clever.
Also, did you know you can play many Windows games from Steam on Linux? I didn't! That was an unexpected surprise.

The Jolla Phone 2 launch event was an absolutely incredible experience yesterday. I had the chance to meet so many lovely people, engage in many great conversations including with folks that will be first-time Sailfish OS users.

Here are is a big thread with some of my favorite photos, in no particular order (aside from this post ;)) #Jolla #SailfishOS

@Cykelsok Ich hoffe daß es trotz dem gut gegangen ist. Färst Du mit dem Zug über Haparanda oder der Fähre von Stockholm?

A unexpected relief, is no longer having to follow the Apple's release cycles. Not worrying about disappointments of functions only released for some markets. Not studying if there is anything new that I'd find actually useful.
Could be I'm just getting old.

Pop by @europeanspodcast, there is a café. I’ll treat you to a coffee/tea and kardemummabulla - and a tour.

My number in the reservation queue finally came up. Superstaten recommended by @europeanspodcast.

Btw, feel free to be jealous of my library, Malmö Bibliotek.

After doing a couple of private workshops on how to use #Mastodon, I've decided I could just record a series of tutorials and have everyone benefit from it. Mastodon has a lot of features, and sometimes even long time users aren't aware of all of them! The first episode is about making posts on Mastodon--going over every aspect.

LOL

On second thought, Romeo and Juliet (Op. 64) might have been the punk of its day. And it might be the punk of our day.

Regardless of genre, I do feel it has a message worth conveying. Regardless of who we are, we are all people of passion, love, desire, anguish, regret, shame, dreams and hopes. Hope!

@europeanspodcast Thank you for this great episode. We love libraries right! Now queueing to get my hands on Superstaten: EU och framtiden.
My favourite quote: "Danish Churches are like Swedish churches. They are very chill and don't really take all the religious stuff very seriously".
I like how discussing serious stuff can also be fun.

@vonderleyen might I suggest you get off Twitter. It is bad for you and bad for European digital sovereignty.
A true desire must be accompanied by true action.

The vibrant patterns on Pysanka eggs  are powerful symbols of a nation’s unbroken spirit. 🇺🇦

As we prepare for the high-level meeting for the return of Ukrainian children, our commitment clear, to  the lives we protect together:

💙 offering a safe haven in the EU to millions displaced by the war

Hope is action.

We #StandWithUkraine

I am angry. I am angry because I am sad. I am sad because the world is not what I was promised. At least not what I believe I was promised. The disappointment is swallowing me.
