i went by "BREAKBEAT HARDVORE" for a while on steam and i kinda wanna bring that username back but it's probably too aggressively sexual for masto

i feel like maybe a rhythm game should have a greater focus on rhythmic patterns (like most music itself) and less focus on being able to sight-read 10 notes stacked on top of each other

but hey, im just a low level stepmania player so what the fuck do i know

also the fact that packs like stepping stones of stepmania and the ffr community packs are considered "beginner friendly" raises some real questions about what the fuck the stepmania community considers a beginner to be,

i wish there were more stepfiles that were like, pattern based? the files that got me back into stepmania are real heavy on repeated patterns, but now that i've derusted i've been lookin at others and they're like. steps vaguely timed to the backing track but otherwise fairly random in placement

stripping the iron-on backing off patches suuuucks

if any patch creators are readin this, please consider making the iron-on backing optional - some people prefer to stitch patches on and the backing is absolutely not needle or sewing machine friendly

making trips outside where i live freaks me out a bit but at least this is on such short notice that i didnt spend the last several weeks worrying about it i guess

trains are too damn expensive so i booked a coach trip to visit my gf for her birthday but i've not been on a coach since 2012 so i'm now very nervous,

at last count i had like 40+ patches but im probably closer to 50 at this point,

despite this, i still only have 1 patch on any of my clothing rn, and it's the sailor moon back patch on my denim jacket

hmmmm... i'd been tellin myself i'd put more patches on this once i'd adjusted the sleeves but...... idk which ones to put on it
