i just clicked on a file in firefox's download manager and it opened it up in internet explorer via wine, killing me instantly computerfairi.es/media/FYTA0vM

do not ask me about my gay pokemon headcanons because a large portion of my brain is dedicated to em

thing i'd like to try but im not sure it's even possible: when awesomewm opens a client with size hints (ie. terminals), centre it in the allotted space instead of shoving it up to the top left corner

ok, unity can now open scripts in vim AND i managed to set up awesomewm so it turns off useless gaps when the layout is set to maximised or fullscreen

i'd say i've been productive but i've essentially just wasted a whole day tinkering with config files,

its incredibly rude that the free version of unity only has a light colourscheme

"got X error" is honestly the most useless error description i've seen my whole damn life,

*spends an hour trying to figure out why vim refuses to open before realising it's cos i had "*depth: 32" in my .Xresources*

hmm yea nice love too waste time cos of totally absent error messages

looks like i need to use vim's server stuff for this but the version in the arch repos has it disabled?? am i really gonna have to compile vim myself

wrestling with the unity editor to try and make it open scripts in vim

i have entered hell

yeezus came out like 4 years ago but i still think about that courage the cowardly dog sample on "im in it" at least once a week

me attempting to model a bathroom: what the FUCK does a bathroom wall even LOOK like

other stuff i miss about cookin for just myself:
- cooking big meals and freezing leftovers for days when i dont have the energy to cook
- not having to work around the preferences of 5 other people
- being able to cook stuff that, when cooked for 6 people, does not fit in a single frying pan (ie. anything involving noodles)

thing i miss about not having a cooking rota: being able to just not cook if i feel like shit

nvm i just spent half an hour writing pseudocode for another feature of the procedural generation that i guess will have to wait til tomorrow cos its 4:25am rn and i should REALLY sleep
