i spent ages getting bioshock running under wine... when it runs, it runs great, but whether it actually starts up or not seems to be a coin flip, and if it doesn't start up first time it wipes all the game's settings (resolution, keybinds, etc)

it'd be nice to know what's causing this but the crash report just cites some attempt to write to a memory address out of range? not exactly helpful

ive done like no programming done on swallow squad in the last 3 days cos i'm trying to get my head around how to make ramps work now that my engine is tile-based

i never actually play pokemon competitively on cartridge but for some reason i find breeding pokemon calming so i just, have all these battle-ready pokemon with no actual use for em 🤔

im thankful that research is a thing that happens but i do not understand how anyone does it without being totally destroyed
