I’m not sure if I want my child reading this book “The Holy Bible”

It contains stories about rape, incest, homosexuality, murder, and many other adult situations.

It is also a blatant attempt at indoctrination. You know, that big scary word Fox News uses all the time.

This is a formal request from me to artists across #Mastodon and the rest of the #fediverse: please, promote the ever-loving heck out of your creations. Share what you love, what you're making, and what you're selling.

I don't have that much cash, like ever, but I can totally buy a few things every month and am totally cool with supporting people in this space.

Went to a new doctor this morning for a routine checkup and I'm proud to say everything went well, until I backed into the emergency button & sirens went off and everybody started running out into the hallway.

Man, Kyle Rittenhouse hasn’t aged well.

Over the past week we've seen a noticeable uptick in men joining, following dozens of accounts presenting as women, and then messaging them directly.

Some appear to be real people, some are fake accounts with stolen identities.

Either way, this is stalking and harassing behaviour, and we have zero tolerance for it.

For those affected by accounts we fail to catch, please report them. We _will_ take action, and you'll help keep the community safe and welcoming for all.

So I haven't posted anything on the bird site or done anything except randomly look at a few posts.

So today someone linked to a story. I clicked over and was reading some of the comments. This was a post about wearing masks, and one man said how he had cancer and that he was still wearing mask.

The hatred, ugliness and utter vitriol coming from his fellow tweeters? In just a few short days I had forgotten how revolting it is over there. Glad I left. #twitterhate
