I live in SoCal, but payroll is processed in a state in the southeast. We already got a notice to have time cards completed by Thursday, because they're going to be closed Friday. "Estimate time spent on contracts for Friday, and adjust next week, if required"

21 December 1944 | A Hungarian Jewish girl, Angela Orosz Richt, was born in Auschwitz II-Birkenau.
Her mother was deported from Hungary when she was 3-month pregnant. She risked her life in the camp to keep the pregnancy secret.
Angela was liberated on 27 January 1945.
Today she lives in Canada & turns 78.

In the early 70s I was taken to see a computer. It took up the entire floor of the building, and a full staff took care of it day and night.
The phone I'm typing this on has more power and is faster than that computer. And it runs all day on a battery.
