Bottom line is that Santos is a wanted on a criminal charge in Brazil and might not even be a US citizen.

The pending criminal charge may well mean he lied to US State Dept / INS when applying for visa and/or citizenship. Which means that his citizenship could be revoked.

it is unknown at this stage what this means for the GOP majority in the house. But it is starting to look like Santos being replaced by June. Unless the GOP hold the seat, that reduces the GOP majority by 2.

This is ludicrous and offensive -- and also the lamest attempt to get out of a lie that I think I've seen.

27 December 1924 | A Polish Jew Jakub (Jack) Fogel was born in Turek.

In Auschwitz from 27 August 1943
No. 140964
Transferred to Fürstengrube sub-camp.

In 1945 he was on a death march, ending up on one of the ships in the Lubeck Bay that were mistakenly bombed by the British RAF on 3 May 1945. More than 7,000 prisoners were killed. Jakub survived.

After the war he emigrated to Australia.
Today he turns 98.
