I'm sharing this as an actual solution to empower civilians.
Please check out TurnSignl, an app founded by Black civil rights lawyers. It lets you video call a lawyer asap through voice activation or single touch when police pull you over. The lawyer manages & records the entire convo w/police & works to get you home safe.
It's like $7/mo and free for low income people. It's in a few dozen states & will be nationwide shortly. I have it myself.

Well, it wouldn't necessarily be 3rd party for them. Samsung provides their own messenger app, by default. They could download the regular Android messenger app from the play store, and use that.
But, yeah, it would require action on their part.

Can any Galaxy/Android users help me understand why, when I text short videos to my parents from my iPhone, the videos are tiny and super pixelated? Seems like this didnβt happen with friends who had Android. Theyβre on an unlimited data plan so this isnβt a concern. I understand the current war between iMessage and RCS, green and blue bubbles, etc., but is this the reason or is this a possible setting on their phones? #android #sms #messenger #rcs

Short answer: Apple doesn't play well with others
Longer answer: When iphones can't text in their preferred (proprietary to Apple) format, they convert to what they consider a universal format. And your textees get grainy, tiny videos.
