KQED News just confirmed with Cal DSS that if you're on food stamps and you lost food due to storm damage or power outages, you can get replacement funds on your EBT card. Sacramento Food Bank was the first to talk about this, and KQED called DSS to confirm.

Meek Mill’s case is a prime example of a racially biased judicial system. That the "judicial" system can be wielded like a weapon and that the system is wielded against non-white people is something we as a nation need to expose and deal with. It's not okay. It's not right, and it shouldn't be excused or justified by anyone.

This was part of a series of pardons issued by outgoing Pennsylvania governor Tom Wolf. It matters.
