Together with a guy 30+ years, married since it was legal. Own a home in CA and don't plan to leave unless I immigrate to another country.

Malcolm X was the stick and MLK was the carrot. MLK wanted to discuss, reason, come together to find a way. Malcolm wanted to fuck shit up. That's how it's always been presented to me.
They were both necessary, each in their own way, and what progress there's been (not enough) was only possible because both were there. One as a promise, the other as a threat.

I try to keep a few popular hits from each year along the way. I still have them crammed on MP3 Data CDs, my Truck doesn't have input ports.

People don't want to think about homelessness because, at least in the US, many are 1, possibly 2, paychecks away from it themselves. Even homeowners can face it. And it's scary as hell.
