Customer software support (me) after someone screamed for 45 minutes, without being able to get a word in:
"OK, here's what we're going to do. I'm going to hang up, and you're going to jog around the block, or punch a hole in the wall, or whatever you need to do to get to a place where I can help you with this. I'm happy to do that, just call back and ask for Scott." [click]
He called back, I helped him with it. From that point on, I was the only person he'd deal with. True story.
User: Iβm setting up my docking station and I canβt get it to recognize the second monitor.
Helpdesk: Can you provide pictures or a description of how the monitors are connected?
User: Monitor 1 is connected to the dock using HDMI. Monitor 2 is connected to Monitor 1 using VGA (I also tried HDMI but that didnβt work either.)
Tech: OK thatβs creative! Never would have thought of that. Sadly monitors arenβt able to be daisy-chained like that.
Have you ever gone down a Wikipedia spiral? You start out with looking up this thing you saw on NatGeo about Incan Khipus, then pretty easily slide into Mayan Xibalba and The Hero Twins, dip your toes into Viking Sunstones, and then you're realizing Dan Brown got all his book ideas from the Cathars, something called Positive Christianity comes next, which sounded cool, but is actually Nazi Propaganda, you finally go to bed, because you start seriously wondering how hard it would be to mummify a cat, OR IS THIS JUST ME?!

Depression sucks, sucks more not knowing exactly what might be causing it.
Figuring out what's behind it feels like I've won half the battle.
I know what I must do & having that clarity is already helping me feel better.
I love change but it can be challenging yet so rewarding when it's a positive life changing task.
I'm open about my anxiety & depression cause mental health is vital, we shouldn't be ostracized for it.
If you're depressed or need help, don't feel ashamed.
