Attacking someone, refusing to accept them, denying them agency in their own lives, is unacceptable. Always.

So stop.

In the 1950s, the belief was that all of these advances meant humans would have more leisure time.

#Today I’m on a serious roll. I finished my granddaughter’s Birthday cake, 3 layers with homemade chocolate icing (not the crap from the store) the inside is vanilla but colored it teal, all done by 9:30! Yay me. And no caffeine! Now for my #Friday workout and this afternoon cook a great Italian meal for my Gia. It’s a cold day 26deg F (-3 C) in the woodlands of #MO and not going to warm up much the whole wkd. One small step. This morning, had conversation w my 15yr old twin sons about trans kids at their school. I asked if they knew of them. We talked about how the trans community is under siege right now w propaganda. One son turned to me and said, “you don’t have to worry Mom, we are allies”, to which my other son agreed.

I do think small conversations like this can make a difference.

Reynisdrangar sea stacks off the southern coast of #Iceland at Vík í Mýrdal. Although the sea looks dark and foreboding, it's actually very clear water but the sand beneath is black.
