During COVID lockdown, many of the schools here in CA opened for breakfast/lunch, so students could eat. Yeah, it was a risk, but so is hunger and malnutrition.

If you get a chance, do make the Angel's Landing hike. The view from up there is incredible.
I visited Zion National Park the day after I visited Death Valley for the first time. It was quite a contrast. Both parks are beautiful and deserving of more time than I had. Unfortunately, I didn't do the full hike up to Angel's Landing.
