Together with a guy 30+ years, married since it was legal. Own a home in CA and don't plan to leave unless I immigrate to another country.

This Blue Heron Was patiently waiting for the right time to strike. I was trying to stay hidden behind some trees while still trying to have a clear view and not disturb the bird. After some time the Heron gave up and moved on.

Listening to some music this morning, and I have the following (very timely) opinions to share:
If you like 80s synthpop, you should probably check out La Roux's debut album, La Roux. It's 80s synthpop made in the early 2000s with the benefit of hindsight being 20/20.
Folks need to stop hating on Steely Dan. Ok, if they're too cheugy for you or just not for you, that is totally fine. BUT they fucking rule, even though their lyrics are creepy.
When people ask if you're more of a Stones or Beatles person, there's always some rando who says they're more of The Who person . I'm the rando who says I'm more of The Kinks person. But oh my god, you don't get punk without them, IMHO.
If you have never looked into who "Daddy" in Kate Bush's Cloudbusting" refers to, brace yourself for a wild ride. W-I-L-D.
I cannot put any Duran Duran song any mix because I will invariably stop mid way through the song and just listen to Rio from start to finish.
