I don't mean to brag, he said, bragging, but the cover to my upcoming novel Starter Villain may be the best book cover ever. Also the book is coming out on September 19 and you can totally pre-order it now if that's a thing you like to do. Also, also, the cover artist is Tristan Elwell and he did a fantastic job, which should be obvious because after all it is the best book cover ever
Charlie
Right now, Charlie is talking to me and nudging me. He wants to go for a walk. But I think I'll wait for it to warm up a bit.
In this photograph, I'm standing at the back door and Charlie is giving me the border collie stare as he creeps slowly toward me. Anybody who has a border collie probably knows what I'm talking about.
He had to trample through one more mud hole before coming inside. It rained for a straight week. Winter gets messy in the backyard. This is something we live with as well as his shedding. I positioned a mop at the small back door Foyer. But he's worth it βΊ.
I dont want to spoil the ending, but if being a justice isnt worth the pay, that is Thomas admitting to taking money to increase his pay.
No that it needs admitting, arrest the Corrupt Justice.
@FantasticalEconomics @1finekitty
This tells me you've a) never discussed these issues with a committed Republican, or b) decided to embrace your inner "abuse power-bottom" urges.
There are no facts, no evidence, no truths that will penetrate their veil of belligerent ignorance. Your honed points of logic will get the exact same "You're just a lib-tard!" response.
Don't fuck him. Ever again. Just him and his hand, for the rest of time.
So here's my #Introduction:
I'm an old broad.
In my life I've done some stuff.
AS in Computer Science 1984.
BA in Philosophy in 2001.
Retired IT pro after 28 years as a programmer/analyst and business analyst.
Attempted to start a union, a co-worker ratted me out, was fired when I refused to discuss it with the employer, was reinstated with back pay per the NLRB.
To be continued ‡οΈ
A white supremacist who praised Hitler goes on a shooting spree, and all the photos I've seen of the terrorized shoppers show many, many Black people. But the motive remains unclear. Sure. You betcha.

In the next dimension over.
The #Metaverse - the once-buzzy technology that promised to allow users to hang out awkwardly in a disorientating video-game-like world - has died after being abandoned by the business world.
It was three years old.
I was really interested in those VR headsets, until Zuckerberg bought them, and made a Faceborg account mandatory to use them.
Nuh-uh. Ain't gonna do that. Keep your damn headset.
This is No. 508, new work from me. I held this one back for some time, revisiting it, modifying it, toying with the colors and textures, trying to get it just right. I sometimes have to remind myself that there's not one right answer when it comes to art, and I am letting this little bird fly free. @autism101 @actuallyautistic yep, and a wardrobe mostly of clothes I haven't taken out since I moved last (ten years ago).
I have a favourite type for each kind of clothing item and then buy lots the same. Anything else in the wardrobe is unlikely to be touched unless needed for a social setting which is hardly ever.
A few years ago there was an offer on Slazenger T's, all kinds of colours Β£3 each. I still have many waiting in their packs until I've worn the others out.
So... me. Work in aerospace, more space, not as much aero. Can fix my own car, choose not to. Can fix the random appliance of your choice. Hardcore introvert in person, which is why I love online. Lifelong science fiction fan. Read constantly. Scalzi is my favorite author, because he mixes exactly the right amount of snark into his writing. Together with a guy 30+ years, married since it was legal. Own a home in CA and don't plan to leave unless I immigrate to another country.
