Do my #ActuallyAutistic comrades stim by touching walls as they walk by?

The biggest impact it's had on me is finding a group of people that I can talk to about all the weird things I do, and having them say "Oh, yeah, me too," instead of looking at me like I just grew a third arm.
It's been a bit like coming out, all over again.

45ish? π
I knew I was different all through childhood, but I learned to mask fairly well. Back then, unless you were a major disruption they just used euphemisms like "he marches to his own drummer". I was perfectly comfortable with my self-applied description, "a bit of a weirdo", but that's probably not ideal either.

34. Learning has been so empowering. I now know how to recognize and avoid burnout and bad sensory experiences, which is literally life changing. I've been able to review my childhood and see my past self with more compassion and understanding. There's been a lot of healing going on lately.
It sure would have been nice to have this knowledge earlier, but I'm so grateful to have it now. π

What I'm reading is that this primarily affects areas Russia is occupying - including the entire Crimea peninsula.

Meanwhile, everybody else gets to be in a cozy heap in hanging basket.
I made myself curious:
[Me]: What do tiny spiders eat?
[Google]: Very small spiders, also known as micro spiders, primarily feed on tiny insects and other small invertebrates such as mites, springtails, and small flies.
[Me]: Wondering if my office plant has mites...
@ScottSoCal #tinybugs this could start some stories.
In my hands is a signed launch-day Xbox 360. Looking up, Bill Gates is smiling at me. Everybody in Best Buy is smiling.
I take off my Apple Vision. I am back in the retirement home. Nobody has visited me for 16 years. I put the Apple Vision back on.
I hold the Xbox 360. Everybody in Best Buy is smiling
Yesterday, at my office desk, a tiny little spider spun a thread from the ceiling and was hanging in front of my face. I snapped the thread and put it in my office plant. It can have water, concealment, and maybe come out once in a while to catch whatever it is tiny little spiders catch to eat.
Things would have been different if it had bit me.
#bugs A tiny - like the size of this i - leggy, pale green, millipede looking bug fell from a silver maple and landed on my hand. Then the tiny beast bit or stung me! I relocated the rude thing. One of its companions must have crawled up my pants leg and attacked there. Iβm afraid fatalities resulted.
#farm adventures!

Pushing 60, here. But, looking back, it makes a lot more sense than it used to.
