🎶 We can use one more music hashtag on Mondays, right? I was thinking #SymphonicMonday. Anything symphonic/orchestral or using classical instruments goes, no weekly themes. Just post something you like. I'm sure there are artists of all genres that use symphonic elements sometimes, or even an orchestra at a concert. And of course there is symphonic metal/rock, classical symphonies, movie or video game soundtracks and orchestras doing covers of popular songs. 🎶

Since the beginning of the large-scale invasion, the Russian Federation has lost 35 "Alligators" in Ukraine, according to data from the Oryx project.

I’m going to keep repeating this - calling right-wing extremists who are armed, organized, and threatening violence, “militias” works to their goal of establishing legitimacy. They are terrorists. Call. Them. Out.

And if you’re in media and calling them “militias”, but refer to Daesh, ISIS, Al-Qaida, or the Taliban as “terrorists”, you should really think about why that is and the bias that you’re internalizing in your work.

Arizona court upholds clergy privilege in child abuse case

The Arizona Supreme Court has ruled that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints can refuse to answer questions or turn over documents under a state law that exempts religious officials from having to report child sex abuse if they learn of the crime during a confessional setting.

The ruling was issued April 7 but not released to the public until Tuesday. A lawsuit filed by child sex abuse victims accuses the church, widely known as the Mormon church, two of its bishops, and other church members of conspiracy and negligence in not reporting church member Paul Adams for abusing his older daughter as early as 2010. This negligence, the lawsuit argues, allowed Adams to continuing abusing the girl for as many as seven years, a time in which he also abused the girl’s infant sister.

That is part of the problem the older you get. Family is invested in how they've come to see and accept you and also in many ways explain you. In denying your autism they feel as if they are still being kind and fair to you. To accept you as they always have. Which isn't super helpful if you want them to see you in your new light and because of it change that dynamic.
