This really does give me flashbacks to teenage years and coming out. Not all of them good flashbacks. 🀨

I read an article printed a little while ago in the newspaper of the town where I was born and raised (and got the hell out) - lamenting that the kids are moving away, and how to stop it.
Don't be bigoted and hateful? Offer livable wages? Stop sneering at everything that didn't exist when your grandpa was a kid?
Just some ideas.

Good news: A big win for the Biden admin: The court holds that Texas & Louisiana lack Article III standing to challenge the administration's removal priorities for unauthorized immigrants. The court's 8–1 decision in this case, U.S. v. Texas, should substantially limit district court judge's ability to impose nationwide injunctions that block the Biden administration's immigration policies. Which is why Alito dissents. -Mark J Stern #ImmigrationReform

I tried out this "Hi, I'm autistic" thing yesterday, and I'm still processing (over-processing?) how it went.
Talking to the hygienist at the dentist office, treatment preferences, she asked if I knew why I prefer minimal contact. "I'm guessing it's the autism," I said.
She stopped talking to me, after that. In the past she's a chatterbox. Next appointment is scheduled with a different hygienist, in the past she's always pushed to book herself.
Processing? Or over-processing?

2nd toot of new handmade works:
The past week was really difficult. I feel a great need of changes in my life and am unsure of my path and some of my connections. It also meant I wasn't promoting much as I just wanted to hide. But my work requires me to always be out there, and I did make some things I'm proud of in those days of hiding. Maybe even things I could send to a loving home, make someone beautiful feel extra shiny and celebrated.

20 years jail for rescuing 1000 low income migrants who were forced to put their lives at risk.

Expanded search for rescuing a few billionaires who chose to put their lives at risk.

Criminalizing poverty and excusing oppulance.

Smh. We don’t have to live like this.

@Thumptastic @actuallyautistic

I do that with trips to the dentist (the place where I'm typing this). Don't like being touched, but I close my eyes and go anywhere else in my head, and I can tolerate it.

@studiofox

As with most everything else, taxpayers will be covering the costs of the oligarch's mistakes.

So the billionaires’ families are gonna get billed for all of this like the time my family got billed for my ambulance ride, right? Right?

Time to talk about the intersection of testing and being wired differently, and more...from Karen Todd (KarenTestsStuff on various places). #kcdc

Today marks the release of 'Sixteen Hours', an hourlong piece of ambient music accompanied by field recordings of birdsong.

Long light music, warm water music β€” resonant, glassy, echoing, etc. Please share!

@Wolven

That trip was "exploration" in the same way my trips in the backyard were exploration.

Today's reminder not to let billionaires regulate themselves and ignore safety warnings in the name of exploration, because it gets people killed. Apply where and as needed.

Shortly after 6th grade ended, my weird aunt who was obsessed with β€œhealth” and fitness told me that bread had empty calories and I assumed that meant 0 calories, so I spent the entire Summer eating a shitload of bread and it was the greatest Summer of my life.

You're telling me a cis teen built this chapel?

I am about to kick some journalists in the nuts real hard.

YOU failed to report on the dire warnings of scientists the past *checks the 6 IPCC reports* 33 years with your bloody "both-sideism" and now it's our fault?

Fuck you, the Hill. Fuck you very very much.

He also has videos on his inventions to track / punish porch pirates, and when he dipped his toe into international scam calls, that rip people off.
He leveraged some of his porch pirate tactics to get the scammers in their office. I loved it.

@cookie_mumbles

He should design and build his own sub to do it. Because engineering genius and all that.
I also recommend putting autopilot software in. That way he could power-nap on the way down.

Hey Musk! You know what's super interesting to go visit from up close? The Titanic!
