I love this.
Let's privatize this critical thing, that people can't live without. Once we do, let's not regulate it. Don't worry, I'm sure it'll be fine.
What went wrong at #ThamesWater and what could a bailout look like?

Found something remarkable (and also quite sad).
In 1997, Wired published "The Long Boom", a hyper-optimistic article about how we'd achieve Utopia by 2020.
The authors included notes on some "scenario spoilers"โnegative events that might send is in a worse direction.
...and those spoilers turned out to be almost spookily accurate.
I've hit the point that looking in the mirror can cause me to break out giggling like the silly girl that I am.
The absolute best is when walking down the street, catching a reflection in the glass "Oh, there's a girl there. Wait! Shit! That's me!!! I'm the girl in the reflection!"
Then my phone pulled up a picture from last year, and like, uh, I really don't look like I did 12 months ago.
This feels so good. When I started I don't know what I expected, but it certainly wasn't anything this great.
It's never too late to start your transition. I'm 28. There's trans person in one of my support groups that started in their 70s. For real folks, it's never too late. Take control. Be you. Be real.
@ScottSoCal So bizarre. I canโt believe it works, but I guess it does
Just to be clear:
"One state lawmaker in Great Bend believes someone might be targeting them."
This lawmaker believes that a letter addressed specifically to them *might* be targeted? Just maybe? Possibly?
Some #Kansas lawmakers worry letters with white powder could be targeted act
Political leaders in Kansas are trying to figure out what's next after suspicious letters showed up in the mailboxes of more than 100 elected officials this past weekend.
Kansas #Republican leaders called it a cowardly attempt to intimidate the legislature.
One state lawmaker in Great Bend believes someone might be targeting them.
The letter inside said 'Don't choke on your ambition'.

I started getting random texts for "Steve", asking if I was still interested in that cabin at Big Bear Lake. I just blocked the number.
And not just the main focus, the only focus should be on what it takes for Ukraine to win.
I agree with LTG (R) Ben Hodges and the NATO Chief that it isn't enough to say we support Ukraine but want them to win. @potus should follow this lead. #StandWithUkraine๏ธ
@JRBuckley @sentient_water HOW IS THIS REMOTELY SURPRISING??!? Has everyone forgotten โgrab them by the ๐โโฌโ?? Have we forgotten his comments about dating Ivanka if she wasnโt his daughter??
@sentient_water @UnCoveredMyths
For me, a โญ is someone quietly saying "I really liked that." A boost is speaking to the room, "Listen up, y'all need to hear this."
@UnCoveredMyths My thoughts exactly. Often I feel people are being personal or vulnerable & a โญ says "Hey someone heard you but I'm not gonna broadcast this OK?"
Also a boost & a โญ means double like in my book.
On #Juneteenth weekend, Governor Greg Abbott vetoed a new registry that could have improved outcomes for sickle cell disease patients. The bill's sponsor called the move โpetty, bullshit #politics.โโ
