It would be a shame if someone posted the article that apparently GQ pulled shortly after publication about David Zaslav.
Even worse if it were an easy to save single image and could be re-shared.

No, but why it's not OK is a mystery. I'm making an appointment with my GP today.
Have any of you ever had an MRI? I hadn't, until last night, and I was in it about 20 seconds before I squeezed the panic button and told them this had to stop. I've never been that close to a complete panic breakdown before.
The restraint for my head also restrained my chest, making me feel like I couldn't breathe. The tube is small - inches away from my eyes. And it's LOUD, even with the earplugs.
I have a new definition of hell.
@nellie_m afaik, technically the terms have distinct meanings - link: https://embrace-autism.com/autism-and-camouflaging/
Camouflaging is the overall "process of changing or concealing oneβs natural personality in order to... be percieved as neurotypical"
Masking is one of three subtypes, and is about hiding autistic traits by activley monitoring e.g. body language, whereas Compensation would be tactics to account for difficulties in social situations (such as scripting) and Assimilation is about "putting on an act"
@ScottSoCal I'm sorry, sir, but the Top Gov has banned all satirical images of his Majesty, especially anything depicting him during his Saturday Pride Cosplay Drag Brunch for Kids. You'll have to register for the privilege to cover Mr. Pudding Fingers, and your Masadon account will be suspended until your loyalty to Meatball Ron is no longer in question. π
You've given me an earworm. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXgSHL7efKg
If you come upon a post with a hopeful and positive message about the world or our future, why don't you take a moment to consider these things before you post a negative comment about why people should be afraid and anxious:
What is my motivation? Why do I want to add negativity to this post?
Am I assuming people don't already understand the information I'm adding? Most people are well aware of the issues facing the world, having hope doesn't mean they are hiding their head in the sand, good things exist along with the bad.
Would this be better as a post sent from my own account?
Do I have any helpful solutions people can actually engage in, that they aren't already, or am I just being a Doomsayer?
I know it's scary out there right now, and it's easy to lean towards the negative. People without hope and joy have nothing to fight for. That doesn't mean they don't care, but no one should spend all their time in the darkness, we need light to thrive.
@ScottSoCal We are in the process of switching from the magic 8 ball standard to casting runes. The magic 8 ball was too woke.
But a slice of angel food cake, smothered in sliced strawberries and whipped cream is all right, isn't it?
I mean, grains, eggs, fruit, dairy. It's got it all.
I love how they evolved Seven's character for Picard. But I hate how they cheated Icheb.
Captain Seven and Chief Engineer Icheb.
Hey #StarTrek fans, in case you haven't seen this yet, there's a petition to get them to make a new series, #StarTrekLegacy - hopefully starring the wonderful @JeriLRyan as #CaptainSeven π
I've signed π
Cheers!
The FCC is accepting applications for new, low-power, community radio stations the first week of November.
This is huge, you guys, this window rarely opens (the last time was 2013), and as you know, KUZU shows one way LPFM can be a foundation to build valuable community information resources.
The Grassroots Radio folks are holding a conference in West Virginia to help folks out with this.
Please boost and share.

I guess it depends how you look at it. If your goal is to drown, but you get run over by a boat, did you achieve your goal?
So... me. Work in aerospace, more space, not as much aero. Can fix my own car, choose not to. Can fix the random appliance of your choice. Hardcore introvert in person, which is why I love online. Lifelong science fiction fan. Read constantly. Scalzi is my favorite author, because he mixes exactly the right amount of snark into his writing. Together with a guy 30+ years, married since it was legal. Own a home in CA and don't plan to leave unless I immigrate to another country.
